Our Work Together Draws From
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a gentle, evidence-based approach that helps you turn toward yourself with curiosity instead of judgment. It’s based on a simple truth: we all have different “parts” within us, the inner critic, the perfectionist, the people-pleaser, the worrier, the dreamer. These parts form for good reasons, often to protect us during stress or pain. In IFS sessions, we don’t try to get rid of these parts. We get to know them. We learn what they need, where they come from, and how to rebuild trust between them and your deeper Self: the wise, compassionate center within you. From this grounded place, change happens naturally. Not by forcing or fixing, but by gently re-aligning your inner world.
Mindfulness to help you gain simple, powerful tools to slow down, reduce stress, and live with greater intention. You will be able to notice what’s happening without immediately reacting, have more space between a feeling and what you do next, feel grounded in your body instead of stuck in your head, meet your experience with clarity instead of judgment, and actually have a choice in how you respond.
Yoga to help you learn how to listen to your body, regulate your system, and return to yourself. You will feel grounded in your body instead of disconnected from it, use breath to soothe anxiety and support regulation, move in ways that help you release stuck energy or emotion, build strength and mobility without pressure or perfectionism, gain compassion for your body and its lived experience, feel present, steady, and more at home within yourself.
Yoga + IFS to help you release stuck emotion or trauma through movement and awareness, feel your body soften as a part finally has room to breathe, understand your inner world not just mentally, but somatically, experience trust between your mind, body, and Self, allow grief, fear, or tension to move through instead of staying locked in, feel supported, seen, and grounded as you reconnect with your inner system, build a relationship with your body that feels safe, compassionate, and alive. Yoga + IFS offers healing that addresses both your psychological and physical patterns, bringing you back into the wholeness of your embodied Self.
Between-Session Support Add-On This work doesn’t just happen in session. Insight often unfolds in real time during your week, in relationships, and in the moments you’d normally move past. You will be able to have async text messaging (48-hour response window, business days) and mid-week check-in text to support your momentum. This is a space for brief reflections, questions, or moments you want to anchor, not ongoing processing. Our sessions remain the place for deeper exploration.
